LinkedIn image sizes
Personal profiles and company pages differ:
| Placement | Size | Ratio |
|---|---|---|
| Personal profile banner | 1584 × 396 | 4:1 |
| Profile photo | 400 × 400 | 1:1 (circular) |
| Company page banner | 1128 × 191 | 5.9:1 |
| Company logo | 300 × 300 | 1:1 |
| Post image (landscape) | 1200 × 627 | 1.91:1 |
| Post image (square) | 1200 × 1200 | 1:1 |
| Article cover | 1920 × 1080 | 16:9 |
Your profile photo covers the banner
On a personal profile, your circular profile photo overlaps the bottom-left of the banner, and on desktop it obscures roughly the leftmost 250 pixels along with the lower portion of that area.
Put nothing important in the bottom-left corner. Most well-designed banners place text and logos toward the right or upper-centre, leaving the left clear.
Mobile cropping
LinkedIn crops the banner on mobile, trimming the sides of the 4:1 frame. As with Facebook, keep essential content centred rather than running it to the edges.
A banner that reads as a simple, uncluttered graphic survives both crops. A detailed image with text at the extremes will not.
